We can only accept a pet for boarding if they are fit and well.
If a pet presents with signs of illness we may not be able to accept them.
Payment must be made in full at the time of arrival. Payment can be made in cash or by direct bank transfer..
To ensure that we are able to keep accommodation available we ask that you make cancellations within 7 days of your booking. Cancellations that occur within 5 days of a booking may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the boarding fee.
The arrival and collection time for your pets stay will be agreed at the time of booking..
Times can be arranged to suit your needs, however, if at a later date you need to make changes please give us at least 24 hours notice.
When you arrange your booking with us we will ask you to complete a booking form which will include some additional information about you and your pet.
We will also ask you for two emergency contacts and the name and contact details of your regular vet.
We will only use your emergency contacts if we cannot contact you or if there is an immediate issue for us to deal with.
If you pet requires veterinary attention whilst they are with us we will take them to your vet in the first instance, all associated costs will remain your responsibility and will not be met by The Place for Pets.
Your pet will not come into contact with any other pet whilst with us, therefore there is no opportunity for your female pet to become pregnant during their stay.
All pets must be collected at the agreed time. If a pet is not collected and we cannot contact you we will use your emergency contacts and request collection of your pet. If this is not possible we will contact animal welfare who may collect your pet. Additional boarding fees incurred during this time remain your responsibility.
